
Jeffry Fruchtenicht is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and has been an advisor in the industry for over 31 years. His first year in the business was with IDS, which is now known as Ameriprise Financial Services. He then worked for a small regional money manager where he first met and worked alongside Tom Oliver, retired CEO of United Planners. In 1994, Jeff decided to start his own firm, Investment Center, Inc., which he has been working to grow ever since.
Jeff has served as a Financial Planner for a national planning firm, Vice President, Marketing Director, and Executive Investment Committee member for a regional registered investment advisory board before becoming President and Registered Principal of Investment Center, Inc. Jeff is a past member of the Financial Planning Association and has maintained previous relationships with the National Endowment for Financial Education and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Northern Iowa. He is originally from Cedar Falls, Iowa, and moved to Independence in 1995.
In October 2000, he retired as a Major from the Army National Guard with over 20 years of service. His former assignments include serving as a helicopter pilot and tank commander. He served as a Cavalry Troop Commander, S-3 Operations Officer, Armor Battalion Executive Officer and Divisional Plans Chief.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys golf, boating and watching his favorite sports teams.
